If you are under 26 and a citizen of one of the European Union member states, you’re in luck! Access to the permanent collections in nearly 50 museums and monuments in Paris and the Île-de-France region is completely free for you. This includes world-renowned sites such as the Louvre Museum, Musée d’Orsay, and the Palace of Versailles. Additionally, most museums offer reduced rates for temporary exhibitions.
Museums with Free Admission for All
Paris is a city rich in culture and history, and many of its museums offer free access to everyone all year round. You can visit the permanent collections in 11 of the 14 City of Paris museums without any cost. However, a few notable exceptions, such as the Île de la Cité Archeological Crypt, the Catacombs of Paris, and the Palais Galliera, may charge entrance fees.
In addition to these museums, other venues, such as the Musée du Parfum Fragonard, the Shoah Memorial, and the Curie Museum, offer free admission, allowing you to experience Paris without spending much on museum visits.
